Loving people

I have been in the states for 4 weeks and during this time one thing has become exceedingly clear to me.  

I love people.

All cultures, all kinds…with a special place for those passionate about life and serving others.

These are the people that encourage me as they share their stories.  

It has been a privilege to see the incredible ways that communities are reached, problems solved, and hope extended.

How needs are recognized, differences valued, people cherished, and served within our churches.  

This is what has inspired me during the sleep deprived weeks in LA amidst my daughters graduation, meeting the women she serves with in Treasures, attending the GodChick conference, meeting with old friends and developing new ones, visiting churches, and establishing new “family” ties.

One thing is true- God has a plan and life is…. so good.  (even especially when there are challenges)
